MA Thespians is a volunteer-powered organization supporting student theatre. Whether you're looking to lead, support, create, or just lend a hand—we have a place for you. There are many ways to get involved:
Serve on our volunteer board.
Help organize events like the MA Thespian Festival.
Offer behind-the-scenes support (admin, tech, outreach, etc.).
Lend your expertise for a one-time project or workshop.
Be a voice for inclusion and student-centered arts.
You don’t need a specific title or background—just a love for theatre and a desire to serve. We welcome volunteers of all experience levels, including early-career professionals, students, BIPOC leaders, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those with disabilities. Whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role or just want to lend a hand, we’re here to support you.
We value lived experience as much as formal credentials—and we believe the best ideas come from a wide range of voices.
