One day. Three ways to theatre. All the people who get you.
And yes — you can do everything. The festival is open to all New England students in grades 9–12 — whether you’re a proud Thespian or just getting started.
There’s no “right” way to shine — but there’s only one place to do it all. Be there.

Workshops
Spend the day learning from professional theatre artists who live and breathe the stage. Dive into hands-on workshops that bring your skills to the next level — from improv that sharpens your instincts, to stage combat that thrills, to lighting design that transforms a story, to musical theatre dance that brings every beat to life.
Whether you want to perform, design, or direct, these sessions are packed with insider tips, fresh techniques, and creative energy you won’t find anywhere else.

Thespys
Thespys are master classes to showcase and sharpen skills in musical theatre, acting, dance, and technical theatre. You'll receive ten minutes of coaching with guest artists to help hone your craft.
All students wishing to present must register in advance. Not performing? No problem — the master classes are open for all festival participants to watch and learn as audience members.
Thespians who receive the highest ranking are eligible to perform at the national level and for scholarships.

One-Acts
Bring your story to life in the one-act event! You’ll have 10 minutes to set the stage, 40 minutes to perform, and 10 minutes to strike — all part of the challenge and the excitement. After your show, your cast will receive 30 minutes of verbal feedback from industry professionals to help sharpen your skills and strengthen your program.
At the end of the Festival, we celebrate everyone’s hard work with an awards ceremony. You can read more about awards and adjudication here.
