Joy Arcolano, Ed.M, RSME is an Associate Professor of Voice & Speech at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she teaches everything from vocal physical connections to Shakespeare to voiceover for digital media. She’s an award-winning theater educator and actor who’s played everything from Lady Macbeth to a girl who just really wanted a lotto ticket. She’s voiced or directed hundreds of audiobooks for Scholastic (yes, books you probably listened to in elem school), and recorded commercials or internals for companies that include Xfinity, the Red Sox, Dunkin, and Moderna. Joy is an Alexander Technique teacher and the secretary of the board for Alexander Technique International. She founded Playhouse Education, collaborating with performers of all ages to leverage science and theatre training to find their authentic voice under pressure. Through her Voice Catalyst practice, she helps artists discover that your whole self is your instrument—breath, body, brain, and heart all working together. She’s been teaching and performing since 1996 and was a founding company member of Saratoga Shakespeare Company. Arthur Gomez is a Boston based Actor and Director most recently seen in Primary Trust at Speakeasy Stage. He’s worked with the Huntington, Lyric Stage, Greater Boston Stage Company, Moonbox Productions, and Reagle Music Theater. He has received Elliot Norton Nominations for his work in The Hombres with Teatro Chelsea and his direction of Passing Strange with Moonbox Productions. When not on stage you can find him chasing his four year old around town!
