Regular Student Registration 

📅 Regular Registration opens: November 1!

🎟️ Every student attending the festival must be registered.

👉 Only students in grades 9–12 are eligible.

$35 – Students from Thespian groups

$40 – Students from non-Thespian groups

✅ No fee for chaperones or troupe directors
✅ Please bring 1 chaperone per 10 students
🚫 All fees are non-refundable

📝Registration fees can be paid via check and made out to the MA Educational Theatre Association.

💡 When registering groups, you must submit one payment. Multiple checks will not be accepted.

Late Student Registration

⏰ Late Registration Opens: January 1 + $5 late fee!

$40 – Students from Thespian groups

$45 – Students from non-Thespian groups

🚫 All fees are non-refundable

One-Act Registration

Want to take the stage? You may register a one-act for adjudication as an add-on to your festival experience!
🎟️ Spots are limited and priority is given to Thespian Troupes.

• $300 non-refundable entrance fee to hold your slot

• Payment is due after registration

• A $50 late fee applies to any payment received after November 15

• If payment is not received by December 15, your slot will be offered to a school on the waiting list

⚠️ This entrance fee is in addition to the per-student festival registration fee and strictly covers our one-act and freestyle theatre expenses.
🚫 We bring in outstanding guest artists to adjudicate — which is why all fees are non-refundable.

Thespys Registration

Once your group is registered for the festival, you can sign up students to present in the Thespys — our masterclass-style adjudications.
🎭 Spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis!

• Opens: December 1

• Closes: When all slots are filled

• Cost: $10 per entry

👉 You must complete your festival registration before registering for Thespy

🚫 As a result, Thespy registration is non-refundable
